On freelancer I found this project and I did bid $8k on it, The description wasn’t full, but I thought by the name it would be some sort of Online MMORPG game, when indeed it was not but close, but to find out it a revolutionary project, at least to me. So here’s the scoop on “Osiris 2″. I bidded 8k, and I got a PM this morning discovering that I was the only person on freelancer who got the concept of the project, and I do have the knowledge and skills to work on something like this. I am very excited, I’m already beginning my end of the project now!

Right now I feel like this project will change the entire world, and how people communicate forever. It’s a chance of a life time, an opportunity, and I’m going to take it, and work hard.

I’m going to try to explain what Osiris 2 is, or make out in sense what it is at my best.

Well heres the PM i received:

Thanks, Ronald! Your knowledge and interest in “game theory” and practice are most certainly relevant to this Project, though it is in its title that you may discern the truly “ultimate”, or “fundamental” purpose thereof….”Osiris” =
“Operating System for the Integration and Regulation of Internet Services”, OK? What I find the most motivating thing about it, insofar as I am concerned, is that NOBODY else knows how to do that thing, do they? I have worked it out.
The result of the particular “Model”, or “Prototype”, being presented here does contain, in a lot of its aspects, a resemblance to those of the sort of online “gaming” products you mention. The difference, however, is that what we are talking about here is the “game” of “real life”, being the FIRST and ONLY “digitally-based” and globally organised representation thereof. In other words, it is the first and only “Web2.0″, or “Community” as that term is so frequently, and almost univerally, completely both misapplied and mis-understood in the context of Web development that we are talking about here.
I must stress at the outset that, as stated in my spec., it is long-term PARTNERS, (ie. “profit-sharing” persons), individual or corporate, that I seek at this point in the 5-Stage Development Programme/Schedule of Works envisioned here, and NOT outside “consultants”, “contractors”, “experts”,
“fee-based” type of relationship, OK? I seek 16 good people such as yourself, for this, each such Partner being allocated a specific role within this top Team, but each also having an interest in the overall benefits resulting from the collective efforts of the Partners so selected in the Enterprise, OK?
What we would do is start off by you “replicating”, or “re-producing”, but for CHARLOTTE, (coded C5 in the “Osiris” SERVER CITY GRID-based System), the exact same work that I am doing with my first such Partner, Marcelo Pickelny, for our “Model”, or “Prototype” such SERVER CITY of SAN JUAN, Argentina. You can review all this material content at: (www.mxglobal.org).
Just click on “Investment Banking” on that Portal Page to take you to the “Model” SERVER CITY I am referring you to. By the end of this Project, we will have 160 of these 16-Platform “WOCs”,(Web Office Centres), that you can see in front of you, in the same number of such SERVER CITIES around the World, OK? Are YOU able and willing to PARTNER with me and Marcelo to secure said specified objective, or mission?
All The Best,
Anthony

I felt astonished, because it’s something I can do and be apart of, so i’ve started planning the replication of the city charlotte for the project. I’m looking forward to being a long term partner.

In more detail….the mission statement of this project….

The mission of the Federation is to support and facilitate the introduction of new systems of economic supply/demand chain management, whereby individual professionals are empowered to operate both independently and competitively in the “global village”.

This requires a fresh and more concerted approach to the science of “knowledge engineering”-the hallmark of the Information Age-aswell as the creation of a new class of up-close property stewards invested with both the rights and the responsibilities of ownership.Only this new approach contains the potential to weave broader, more personal networks of participation and community-the essential building blocks of a viable civil society. A more personal varietyof capitalism is essential, not only to the continuance of a robust democracy, but also to sustain the trust, confidence and support that underlie the world’s social capital.

Current capitalism lacks both the organising principle and the culture to enable it to sustain either itself or the political, social, fiscal and natural environments of which it is a part.Capitalism’s absent component is up-close capitalists. What is needed is a private, property friendly, strategic environment that converts stakeholders into genuine stakeowners.

In future, companies will increasingly turn to network operations partners (NOPs) such as MX vertical industry portals, (”vortals”), for full service and application-based information systems outsourcing. These will integrate business applications software and hardware, networks and other third-party capabilities such as website design/development and other non-strategic partner services. In principle, they may be regarded as a logical extension to conventional Application
Service Providers (ASPs) who deploy, manage, and lease packaged application software to customers from centrally managed data facilities. Osiris-based
e-markets provide a unique set of value levers to their member companies and individuals. These include purchasing power, process efficiency, industry supply chain integration, aggregated content and community, and market efficiency.

We need new abstractions and concepts that allow applications to access and share resources and services across distributed, wide area networks. Just as the WWW began as a technology for scientific collaboration, and was adopted for e-business, we expect a similar trajectory for Grid technologies. The WFTX’s C2GRIDSERVER provides a graphical supervisory system for such a geographically distributed heterogeneous computing environment. The goal is to extend the system to Grid applications across the global, digital economy.

The current shift to the global electronic economy is not unlike the previous shift to the industrial economy that occurred some 150 years ago, although the shift 150 years ago was at a much slower pace than the current one. Then, revolutionary capabilities converged to fuel the changes that are now known as the Industrial Revolution. This convergence led to new industries and changed the way people worked, where they lived, and the skills they needed. These changes set the scene for fundamentally new ways of creating economic value. Now, another historic convergence- that of the merging of computing, communications, and knowledge- is beginning to result in even more fundamental changes in the economic landscape: hence the necessity for radically new ideas and approaches to cope with them.

The unique benefits of the Federation’s MX Exchange/Portal Development Programme are:- First, to offer investors a structured programme for integrating investment strategy across the currently fragmented industries of telecommunications, computers/Internet and cable/satellite/ terrestrial TV broadband broadcasting. Secondly, to offer investors and others the first and only practicable methodology for capitalising upon the union of high-level “content” in the form of professional, educational and governmental services with those technologies, which convergence has now become the real source of future economic or investment value in informational socio-economies. The method of achieving these objectives has been to re-think and to re-define critical roles in the business landscape, in order to make them more collaborative and adaptive to the new realities.
