Hi my name is Ronald A. Richardson (www.ronaldarichardson.com), i’m 17, and I just got highly interested in Physics ever since I started taking Honors Physics at my school, next year I will take AP. But, anyways I’m usually a computer nerd, but I’ve always had a vast interest in space since I was a small child, an infant basically, so I guess that makes me a complete nerd, memorizing all the constellations, stars, and galaxies will turn the world of ignorance against you.

Well my main question to you, well first off before I begin I must say you are my favorite Physicist of all time, I’m an absolute fan of your books…

Once again, my main question to you is: Since we know that our universe is expanding, at a constant velocity?
I’ve read that our universe is one among many in this “multiverse,” it occurred to me that we(humans), compared to the size of these universes(or membranes) we may appear as “micro-organisms,” in comparison that is.
So now that I know, from what I’ve read that there is a multiverse of universes being formed every second, but what lies outside of this multiverse? Is there a million more “multiverses?” Is it possible that our whole existence could be a microscopic existence in some sort of other enormous universe of multiverses, of an entire full size planet amongst a universe?

Or is it even possible that our “universe” and “multiverse” is some sort of weird small cell in an organism we are completely unaware of?

Well I’m hoping you can answer my questions, and enlighten me if I have misunderstood something, because I’m highly interested and ready to learn everything, especially for reasons to advance our civilization.

I’m also using all the information on this I can conjure up for my next project called “(UNIV3RSE),” which will probably be my hardest and biggest project so far. It will be a full programmed experiment with “Genetic Algorithms.”
You may be interested in this, imagine a computer program that works exactly like our inverse, evolving, and using laws to govern chance.
The idea of this project is to develop a full Genetic Algorithm Program, where once you start it up, a big bang occurs and a baby universe is visually formed inside your computer screen, there of course will be a time ratio to the Genetic Algorithms time from Earth time, probably something like 1min on earth=1billion years in the program. Your baby universe inside your computer over time will eventually use the gases and everything the big bang emits to form quasars, then galaxies, then stars, solar systems, and planets.
One of the key things to this program is that you will be able to move your cursor around in your newly developed baby universe and watch things that would happen in our universe happen in your baby universe, e.g. stars going supernova and creating new stars. It will be a whole system based off of Genetic Algorithms which ultimate feature is trial and error. Which leads us to the key point, “Artificial Intelligence,” the most key essential goal of this project is to see how a new life form reacts and pushes through challenges and advances over time.
In this program, let’s say a solar system is developed in the perfect conditions required for life to form. With your cursor you would be able to zoom into the planet and watch life evolve over a particular time ratio set by you. Eventually a intelligent life form will evolve and walk upright, you could watch he Genetic Algorithms in the program start to work, as these new life forms group and endure in life over trial and error. Maybe, eventually your life forms will become very advance over time, learning from there mistakes and passing down knowledge from generation from generation, eventually, maybe these life forms will begin to explore your baby universe. The whole beauty and complexity of this project is in the power of Genetic Algorithms altered and modified for certain functions and events to create an artificial universe in a persons computer. One aspect of this project could even be the art aspect, as to say the violent events in our inverse create fantastic and magnificent beautiful natural colors and events that dazzle the human mind, the point would be to allow anyone to witness the birth of a universe, artificially.
The whole idea of this project came when I heard that it’s impossible to develop a baby universe in a laboratory, well to me nothing is impossible. I even thought that maybe as your baby universe expands it will eventually begin to take up a large portion of a users computer space, well I’ve even found a solution to that, an expanding and growing computer program based on Genetic Algorithms that does not occupy more than 20GB of space sounds well over impossible, but it is not and I have a solution of using server space, well that would lead to me charging people monthly for more space for their baby universe.

Well besides all that let me know what you think. I’ve already began my research and I have the computer skills. I’m working with Processing 1.0 BETA, C++, Java, Blender, and experimenting with many other programing softwares that would be perfect, so far Java and Processing 1.0, since they are both mathematically based and Processing is visual through the concept of the Java language.

Peace! - Ronald A. Richardson
