Today I’ve been working hard on building the ZocialNET, and I needed a javascript window to load my content in, and look stylish so I stumbled upon http://deluxepopupwindow.com/ - Who are truly suckers, I mean there code is nice, but can you really, really sale javascript and give a demonstration, and a trial version. Te code is bound to get used without payment.
So anyway I downloaded the trail to load a Mac OSX Javacript Window, there was only one problem… they had a big ass Trail version div in the left of the web page so I went to the main script library - which is: dpopupwindow.js for the popup window code.
I browsed it and looked, if you remove thwe div the code dosent work so while browsing I found out how to get the full version from the trial script. Alright, here all you googlers searching for a way to get full version of this code without buying a license check this out:

–NOTE: IT IS ONLY THE POPUP, not that other stuff, the window and crap. only had time for popup since most people are using it.
Screw that, it’s un-needed. Theres a better AJAX version in the prototype ajax/js library. I’ll do a post on it later on this month.

Your save me, It doesn´t work at first time but before your post I had no idea.
I copied the code and did a search in the latest version of Deluxe Menu tree (3.2.7) but the string of code is not found. Any advice or guidance or update. Where is the better AJAX/JS menu to which you refer in your comment?
I’m not sure where I got the exact AJAX/JS code for the new popup window in the Prototype Library, but the code for the popups are in there somewhere. Try downloading the prototype/js library. If you have no luck finding it there, I still have the code of it up and running on an old project interface. Check out:

Just click one of the buttons at the bottom, and it will launch the code. If needed I can tar that directory and you can have all the code in zui, most of it is based off multiple javascript libraries.
thanks dude, it worked for me…..the text cant be search through normal text editor…u have to search for keywords from the above phrases to get the text…

it does’nt work…why? izzit because they have patched it already? cause erm i just downloaded the new version…can help me? cause this si for my school project and the deadline is on saturday. so i really need this program thx in advance ronald.
No biggie, so far it’s been working for most people, but I didn’t expect them to not patch it by now. So maybe so, anyways, I this is no biggie, just shoot me an email, and I will do what I can. What kind of project is it? and which software are you trying to use?
I’ve been boosting about the prototype library, so i guess I will do an article on it when I have the time. It’s some code in their js lib, that is way better than this crap.
For those still working on Popup Windows..
If you search for the more unique characters like “Uphcm$o” it should be easy to find. I found just one instance of this in the dpopupwindow.js.
Unfortunately after making the replacement I get a blank page, and preview window bottom message of:
JavaSript error! Line=28; Character=2; Code=0; Message=’deluxePopupWindow’ is undefined..
My version is 3.2.7.16 if someone can post a working version somewhere that may be cool for others..

I’m going to download the software, hack it and re-release it cracked and ready to go. That would be the best solution, I just have to get some time, I’m doing a lot to the website so… I’m going to try it tomorrow, or tonight?. Also i’m going to tar the zui for open source use.

Yeah, if you don’t want to change the code all the time, theres a fiel in program files of the program you just edit. Worked for me…

Have you tried the PopupWIndow dpopupwindow.js yet?
Says it’s beta & looks to be a bit different for the needed replacements.
I made them 3 times in both notepad & dw8, the div is gone but Window too..
I believe since it’s beta changes were being made and would explain small differences in expected code found in the file.

I’m hacking the software now, I’m going to upload it in a few mins. I’ll zip it and upload it. This should fix everything, u will be able to sue the software like full version.
They have patched it, so I’m fixing it with my version. Also, if you want something better that’s free. I finally found it LOL. Check this out, will mos def help you out:

Thanks for this Ronald, I’m not as technical as most of your readers and I get an error saying: “Error! Skin Load!” when trying to run this. I’ve copied the deluxe-popup-window.files folder to /scripts/ and the Deluxe-popup-window.js to /scripts as well. I then changed the code as follows:
var dmWorkPath = “scripts/deluxe-popup-window.files/”;
in the head tag and
in the body tag which gives the error described above,

Try saving a new template and file to the default folder.
If that doesn’t work try saving to a new folder and or recreate your directories in Program Files with the .rar extract.
I’ve had several of those errors myself and each time it was more or less a sharing violation that was bypassed by the above.
Did you install the trial first or just extract?
I installed the trial then replace files as suggested.

Jano, I just noticed you’re working with popup but reference the other scripts replacement.
The Popup works with the top code “this.dd…”
Also, Ronald has already “adjusted” the popup files, you should not have to now, for popup wndows..
- Install the trial
- Replace the trial program files directory with files provided
Very easy now.
